Has anyone driven by officer's gulch? Anything going on there yet?

Thanks to everyone for their beta!

Alexey, dutchman ice seemed to be in decent shap but not much snow has filled in the couloir yet, so it would be quite the slog to get up there for 30 ft of ice. You'd be better off on Dreamweaver.

Drove by it yesterday. Nothing seemed to be forming yet from a drive-by look. Things looked wet, but definitely nothing on triple-tier or others easily visible.

Lincoln falls is starting to form up. This picture was taken before the storm on Sunday, so I'm sure there is a bit more now.

Thanks! Did it look like there was any decent ice on Dreamweaver?

Ok so I've slept after a effing long day but here's the beta.

Alexander's is IN, even has ice in the chockstone area, super fun.

Smear of fear looked good but isn't fully touching down and lower half is thin...

Didn't get great pictures of dreamweaver or Dutchman.

Martha is not even close.

Lambslide is good boot pack consistency.

Approach all the way just past chasm junction can be done in trail runners as of yesterday.

Peacock pool is coming along nicely.

Sorry for the crappy quality I only had my iPhone.

Cheers boys and girls!!

Oh and I lost a BD express 10cm somewhere in Alexander's. Would love to have it back but don't that will happen. Lil donation to the ice gods...let's hope for a great season haha.

Ptarmigan on 6 October. Routes to the left were looking gooooooood. Pictures didn't turn out though.

Guided the East Couloir near the Ptarmigan Glacier yesterday. The snow was pretty much ideal the whole way up. The routes to the left (Ptarmigan Fingers, Flattop aka Northwest Gully, etc.) were forming good looking rolling WI2/3.

lol yes, hungry even. Yeah, saw the pic but that's from last week before the storm. These few days of warm weather makes it not so promising, though.

Thinking about smear or fields on longs this coming tues. Any current photos between now and then would be awesome, or beta from any of you monsters who already jumped on them this week.

Cheers

I was in the Notchtop vicinity on Tuesday, October 14th and it looks like things on Notchtop's NE Face are forming up but will still be a bit before it's fully in. I would guess within the next two weeks depending on weather/temps, etc.

We went for a hike with the tools up to Quandry to see if Clam Jumper was in.. It's still pretty bare bones up there.

It's like a feeding frenzy on the front range, glad I don't live there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
