Hi.
I'm thinking of going to Cochise Stronghold around the 2nd week of November. What are the temperatures like around the West Stronghold area? Also, how are the approaches and does anyone have suggestions of good hostel type lodging or simple cabins with showers.
Much thanks in advance

Hey Sleyer,

The temps are great in November. On the shady faces it is just a bit cool; I have been climbing with a light jacket. The sunny faces are very nice.

Approaches can range from seconds to hours depending on what you want to climb. For many of the bigger domes on he west side the approaches are 30 to 60 minutes.

Check out Tombstone for cabin rentals; there used to be a place called Katie's Kozy Cabins that were affordable and nice.

Enjoy!
