Anybody have any beta for the formation next to Chinle spire? I believe its round rock, if not are there any other routes up the buttress?

Also, anchor status. I heard new anchors are on chinle, if that buttress is round rock. Looks like there are rebar anchors?

Any beta would be appreciated!

According to Desert Rock (1988)

"Round Rock rating unknown
The first ascent of this rock was made by the Amasazi, who chopped foot holds in the rock. The exposed route climbs a low angle area on the southeast side of the butte. Modern day climbers have since added protection bolts."

I live near Round Rock. Been teaching here for 15 years and do lots of bouldering in the area. Never heard of it referred to as Chinle Spire.Jeremy is correct, it's illegal to climb on the Navajo Nation.
