I'll probably be there late next week. Re good places to camp without needing a portaledge, this has to be my favorite:

(look for the pic with the tent).

The smoke conditions are fine today, but yesterday there was a bit. It all depends on the wind. Check out the live webcams at the following . . .

I recently posted this on another Yos post and it seemed to be well accepted. I'll try not to hijack too many more!

I recently made a Yosemite Climbing iphone app with around 200 routes or so. I haven't had many downloads and would love to see people start using it here. Below are ten codes that will allow you to download the app for free.

99PPTMKET9MR
KPMF6FMWENKJ
THJ6TT976F3W
ERTRFF3RTKLW
67WNJ3EA74FF
E6W47E69YLLM
WFP93MT7A9WA
9Y9TXPKP9HP7
PPJPL7W7JKFA
LFTHWFT3WPAK

Go to the App store > Featured Tab > Redeem button (bottom of page) and type in one of the above codes. Please respond with the code you used, as they are only good for 1 use.

Also, if you use a code, I would really appreciate some feedback (good or bad!). Let me know if you think it is too cheap, too expensive, needs more routes, etc.

Thanks to anyone who checks it out! If we run out of codes quick, I will pass off some more.

Used the second to last code. PPJPL7W7JKFA

It would be nice to show the rating of the climb beside the name when you view them as a list and on the map.

I was going to hot box Harding's chimney but I guess that's out now.

Anyone up for some short-ish (2-5) pitch stuff in the 5.6-5.9 range monday? I've had some tendon issues lately so I don't want to get into anything too committing.

Nick, just sent you a PM. I'll be in Tuolumne Meadows and was thinking of doing a rest day on Monday (partner doesn't arrive until that evening). Shoot me a message if you want to climb.

I used THJ6TT976F3W, app looks great! I've been meaning to make something like this myself for some of my local crags. I especially dig the route photos for the first pitch ( I can think of multiple time this would have been helpful)
