Indian Creek weather in late December

I was hoping to make it out to the creek sometime for a week or so, and its looking like the only time my schedule would let me would be right before Christmas after the semester is over. Anyone have any input on the weather around then? Ive heard that it might get into the high 30's or low 40's during the day and with the sun I imagine the cold could be tolerated. And if anyone has any suggestions for preferred December climbing destinations that would be great too! Thanks

The creek could be really cold with lows in the single digits with highs in the 20's or 30's, which could be tolerable if its sunny, however the days are short and the nights are long. It could also be quite pleasant with highs in the 40's to 50's with lows in the 20's, I have climbed there in January in shorts and t-shirt in the sun, and not froze overnight. Hard to say what the weather can be like, it is the desert and you have extremes.
Joshua Tree or red rocks might be a warmer destination.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
