Wind River Ice? (Mount Helen)

A friend and I are planning on climbing Tower 1 Gully on Mount Helen next week.

Has anyone been in Titcomb basin lately? How's the alpine ice shaping up?

Crazy stuff! You TR got me psyched to get on that. But as I was looking up topos for that 17mi approach, both of my legs actually detached themselves from my body and went running off into the woods of Boulder Canyon. Just got a letter from them made out of magazine clippings, if I promise to not climb Mt Helen, then they'll come back I guess.

Haha, seriously though, that's awesome dude, way to sniff out that early season freeze.
