Ushba titanium axe! Best al around. If you need something lighter you should reconsider something else in your pack to lighten your load!

I own an Ushba. It's a real axe, but it's heavier than the TiCa axe by quite a large margin.

Also, Ushba is long out of business, so you can't buy from Ushba, and finding someone who is willing to sell their Ushba axe may be hard. (I know I wouldn't sell mine.)

Raven pro is sturdy and light enough. Plus, Lawrence Fishburn kills canibals with it in The Colony...I picked up the Corsa last season, because it was on sale at Rei around dividend time. I haven't taken it out for a good test yet, but I like it so far. Would have to agree with the adze comment above. Not the best. In all, I think it will be a light use day hiking/peak bagging axe for me. Or a guest axe, when I have company. Love the raven pro!

Cracking up.

Not only do you have the titanium Ushba, now you bought that.

There's a market for everything, apparently.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
