Good Neoshell climbing pants other than the Rab Stretch Neo?
|
Looking for a good climbing pant made from NeoShell fabric. |
|
Rab has a new pant: us.rab.uk.com/products/mens… |

FYI, you'll probably only get one good season out of some Neoshell pants. It's a great fabric, but doesn't seem to stay waterproof for very long in high wear applications. |

Decided to get the Mountain Equipment ArcLight pants. |
|
I was just looking at the Arclight's. How do they fit in the lower leg? Are they baggy like most climbing/skiing pants or are they built some-what streamlined in the lower leg for climbers? I like a tight fit just below the knee to the bottom so they don't snag on my crampons. How is the Neoshell material? Stretchy at all? |

Built more like a climbing pant than a typical ski/snowboard pant. Material doesn't seem all that stretchy. I didn't notice any stretch at all. If it's stretchy, it's just a little bit stretchy. Size X-Large is a 36 inch waist. Size Large is a 34 inch waist. |

I'd be interested to see how the NeoShell performs. I have yet to use anything "NeoShell" yet. Keep me posted! |
