Gonna be in LV from Sep 26 - 29 for some single pitch sport climbing. Underestimated how warm it would still be at this time of year, and am deciding between seeking out shady/cool crags or climbs at Red Rocks, or just going up to Charleston for some limestone fun.
Anyone have any recommendations for where to stay cool in the RR pullouts? Ideal style of climb would be steep, endurancey stuff in the 5.12 range (see my "to do list" for what I had in mind).
Thanks, John. Wound up at Charleston on Saturday (glassy!) and at Sonic Youth wall at Red Rock yesterday. SY was perfect -- shady, breezy and almost empty! Very nice climbs there, too.
