Description
The Henrys are between Hanksville and Hite. The highest peaks are Mount Ellen (11,552ft), Mount Pennel (11,371ft, and Mount Hillers (10,723ft). The peaks are barely in the alpine zone. This was the last mountain range to be discovered in the lower forty-eight states, by Powell. Hidden from highway viewing, on the northwest slopes of Mt Pennell, is a technical summit called The Horn.
