I'll be heading to Yosemite October 2nd and will be looking for solid partners. I have a friend that lives out there who's taking a week off to do the Salathe but besides that I'm open.
Experience: HDIAD, South Face of Washington Column, Astroman, the Rostrum, the Incredible Hulk, Freeblast.
Todo List: The Salathe, The Nose, Triple Direct, the Zodiac, West face of El Cap, Astroman, cragging...
I'm totally open to other suggestions as well. I'm much more of a free climber than an aid climber but have led up to C2, and I'm eager to learn more. I'd especially love to team up with a strong aid climber.
I'm in the same boat. i've been on the road since april, from the creek to red rocks, yosemite to tahoe and the eastern sierras, then squamish for a few months, then Index, trout creek and back to the sierras before yosemite valley.
I just got off the hulk, climbing pos vibes, sunspot and the polish route, all of which were pretty cruiser, so i'm psyched to push it a bit once i get to the valley...
anyways, my tick list for the valley is pretty short and sweet: rostrum, astroman, westface of el cap. add in a big wall and some other quality multipitch routes and i'd be stoked. I'm way more into freeclimbing but easy aid shouldn't be a problem if you wanted to do something like half dome, for example. that being said, i'm into refining my aid techniques so i can move faster on the bigger climbs...
i'm not the uber aid master you're looking for, but if you wanted to team up to take on those three free climbs i'm definitely game.
