Just moved to the Bay Area from Boulder, CO. Before you ask, I moved because I got my dream job out of college. I am looking for climbing partners to go on new adventures with in the sierras, yosemite and around. I am in my early 20s, climb 5.9 trad and 5.11 sport. I want to delve deep into traditional climbing and have half a rack at the moment (soon to be full with some larger cams). Message me or reply to this post and let the adventuring begin.

Do you climb at the fremont gym? Wouldn't mind finding more partners for there and outside.

I haven't explored the gyms here yet as I arrived 2 weeks. I was gonna check out planets granite in Sunnyvale. Is the Fremont one good?

I have only watched a partner try aid climbing but I am willing to learn and try it out. Don't have ladders or a hook at the moment.

City Beach is ok, nothing great about it. The community of hardcore outdoor climbers is kinda small there. Hopefully we can increase our ranks.

Sweet. We should meet up sometime and climb there sometime this week

Just moved as well, about 2 months ago, and discovered the plethora of sites like this. Sunnyvale Planet granite is pretty awesome, haven't done any of the sport here yet and need to ease back into leading it seems. Was doing up to 5.11a sport and did some 5.8/9 trad back in Western Australia 4-5 months ago, so still a bit rusty. Have full trad rack. Not much experience multi-pitching, but sure I have all the skills to to lead and following depending on grade.

Sweet I'd love to climb with ya Nicholas. Let me know when you're available and we should meet at a gym or head to a decent area on the weekend.

Anyone that posted in this thread - just moved back to SF from SLC. In the market for more trad partners. Lead around 5.9/10a on Sierra granite at the moment. Would love to get out to the leap/loaf/donner/valley etc before winter hits. Feel free to PM.

Hey all, I also live in San Francisco. I lead sport at 5.11 and trad at 5.9. I have a full rack and have been going to Lovers Leap and Yosemite recently.

I am available some weekends for longer tradventures, but am mostly looking for someone to take mid-week half-days off and work on sport projects at Mickey's Beach. I'm hoping to break through the 5.12 barrier this month.

Please PM me if you are available mid-week or interested in the Tahoe area on weekends. Also I climb Tue and Thu nights at Planet Granite in Crissy Fields if you want to meet at a gym first.

I climb at Pacific Shore Club walls and live in SF. I am comfortable with 5.11+ climbs so PM me if you want to meet up.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
