question re "views" of forum posts

Yesterday, I posted something to the Northern California forum.
mountainproject.com/v/reque…

Today, I noticed that it appears to have gotten no page views, and neither have a couple of posts by other people. Well, maybe no one had looked at them. I looked at my post, but it still had 0 views. Well, maybe the system disregards one looking at one's own post. So I tried looking at one of the other posts with no views -- but after I looked at it, there were still 0 views! This happened in both Safari and Firefox.

So I'm wondering -- is this some sort of general bug? Could it have something to do with my browsers being a bit old? Could it have something to do with my being a newbie on Mountain Project?

Thanks,
Emmy G

They get updated once/day, sometime in the middle of the night. If it doesn't look better tomorrow, let me know and I'll research it.

Thanks for your reply, Nick -- the page views were updated last night.

For a while there, I was starting to think I could move invisibly on the internet, like a Ninja! ;-)

I always wondered how it was possible for a thread to show zero page views, but have replies after the original post... Now I know.
