Looking for a partner for Lover's Leap (or Tahoe area) Sept 19-21

Looking to do some trad climbing of any grade! I plan to camp in Strawberry. Send me your email if you're interested! |
|
Tempting, but isn't that area getting pretty firey right now? |

Was there today. Thought I'd chime in. Was smoke free until 3pm this afternoon when the wind shifted from SW to W. Next few days looks like E, NE winds could keep the Leap fairly clear. |

^^spot on!! |

Hey, I am a Tahoe local and looking to get out on Wednesday or Thursday. The fire shouldn't be much of a problem as long as the forest stays open. We are supposed to have winds pushing it away from strawberry, plus all the granite in the desolation wilderness should keep it clear. Give me a holler if you want to climb. I have rope and a half-rack plus nuts. |

Dede, interested in meeting you at the Leap another time. |

I am traveling through to function in SF...would be interested in climbing all day Wed and Thurs, arrive Tuesday night, leave Fri morning. Have all the gear, don't mind doing all the leading. Looking for safe belay or partner to switch leads, don't care either way. |

Dow, my days off were switched suddenly and I am not free wed/thurs. Give me a holler on your return trip. |
