This month I am happy to report that I sent my first 5.12c sport climb at one of our better local crags. In that moment every single one of those tips and pointers that the "How To Climb" books and other climbers had been giving me over the past few years finally clicked.
The question is, where were you when it all finally came together? What was the most significant climb that finally broke that one final mental/physical barrier that had been keeping you in hangdog hell vs. sending heaven?
This thread is NOT just about "Sports Climbing". Those that boulder, climb trad, aide climb, or climb ice should feel free to chime in since all the climbing arts are beautiful in their own way.
I can't say I've had any big moment when it's all just come together, but I've had a bunch of little ones where I figure something out that I really didn't understand before. Although, I set myself a new goal this time last week, and I've hit that goal every day since then: Have Fun! :D
