Devils Lake best bang for the buck

Going to be at Devils Lake on Friday and I'm looking to maximize my day. This year has been pretty spotty as to when I've been able to get out. I'm fairly unfamiliar with the place, only been there twice. Looking for areas with good concentration of quality 8's and 9's. This may be my last chance this year to get out there and I'd like for it to be a quality day.

Get the guidebook or ck here in the Area routes pages.
i was there on a weekend (albeit decades ago ) and there were plenty of people climbing the moderates So even if ya go 'cold' you'll be able to zero in on the routes your looking for and maybe meet a few new partners as well.
Great climbing there A little slick in the summer but DL is a great experience

On a Friday, you will have lots of quality choices. Go up the CCC trail, The top of the trail has a high concentration of climbs immediately starting at D'Arcy's and continuously toward the west through Hawks nest. Don't be too worried by the wasp's on the sunny faces as they are not aggressive, only intimidating!

On a weekday, you should go to the East Rampart. Some classics to choose from (5.7 to 10a):
D'arcy's, Last Gasp, Sometime Crack, Upper Diagonal, Congratulations, Brinton's (and the direct), Chiaroscuro, The End, Chicago, Peter's Project, Mouse's Misery, False Alarm Jam, Orgasm and Charybdis.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
