Hi guys,

I am coming up to Boulder for a week for my very first time and I could use some help/recommendations.

Where would be a good place with decent conditions to go boulder in the v4 - v8 range? I have a car so getting there shouldn't be an issue.

Any recommendations on some good climbs at that range?

Thanks!

Flagstaff Mtn is your obvious choice, and, while it's a bit of a drive (40 minutes-ish), Morrison has some great pebble wrestling.

This is my first Fall in CO. Generally speaking, when does the snow start coming down on Mt Evans and RMNP bouldering? Longs has already been snowed on several times.

One thing you'll find is there is no real rhythm to the weather. Sure you can approximate, do your homework, go off the models and think you got a shot. Sometimes you do. But somedays it says 60% chance of rain, and you miss a bluebird day. Other days (like last night) it rained all fricken night long. And each year is different than the other. Been snowed on in June and July, spring skied in the winter, got drenched on a 10% chance of rain day.

haha always be prepared and most of the times always at least give it a shot. That way you might actually get on your objective 50% of the time.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
