I am going to be in California (Santa Rosa to be exact) starting this Sunday (9/7) until the 19th, and I would love to find a partner to climb with. I plan to bring just my harness, chalk, and shoes. I can follow sport up to almost any 5.10 and clean, I can follow very very easy trad, I can lead up to 5.9 sport, and I will happily lend a spot bouldering. I'd love to travel to Yosemite for a couple of days, but I would also be happy to stay closer to Santa Rosa/San Francisco. Thanks!

Hi,

Would you be up for the regular route on fairview dome or a similar long trad route in Tuolomne meadows ? I can bring my trad rack and ropes and lead the whole way. I'll be visiting from Switzerland and available for climbing the 12th and 13th.

Let me know if you're interested! my email is pyr@spootnik.org

Cheers !
Pierre-Yves.

Rose I am living in the North Bay. I would like to go check out Mickey's Beach. I have climbed there once years ago. I have been climbing for over 10 years but have taken a break due to a finger injury. I have Sun, Mon, off although this week I am busy.

I don't know if you would be interested in doing a trip up to Tahoe, but i am looking for a climbing partner for the 15th and 16th of September. I will have all the gear for trad or sport, and am happy to lead the pitches you don't want to. I am interested in doing anything in the area around the lake, or maybe a trip to the Emeralds. I will be staying in Donner Lake area. My name is Dave and I have been climbing for about 27 years. If you are interested, reply to this post and we'll connect via phone or email.

OP here. Sorry for taking so long to get back to everyone.

pyr: I honestly think I am way too afraid of heights to do a long multipitch route. I'm also pretty bad at trad climbing. So I think you'll probably have to keep looking for a partner for Tuolomne. Sorry.

Michael: Do you have any other free days? I'd even be down to check out some local bouldering areas. I'm going to head to Indian Rock today in Berkeley.

Dave: That actually sounds super fun. If you're still interested, shoot me an email at rboughto@reed.edu and we can discuss the details.

Thanks all for your replies!

Rose
