Are there any deep water solo spots in Northern Cali? ( or any other funky places )

Wow, what a dumbass laden thread!

Eric, Berryessa has some better rocks out past Turtle Rock. Ya know, at the first bridge where you can jump off the cliffs when the water's high. I freesoloed up the one on the north side once. Wouldn't recommend it. One, because it's choss and two because mid way up you'll have 100 boats full of bro's egging you on. Bouldering around the base is good depending on the water levels. Especially on the south side. That crack is gnarly fyi.

There is also some premium DWS up on the Sonora pass. Any more info than that I'd have to kill you to tell you.

Ironically, the tide is super row now too! Anyway, we saw some sea walls that looked fun too near Canary row!

"Canary Row"? Have you seen any canaries there?

Parrots....quite a few of them. And some men dressed in kimonos with their faces painted. Cannery row.

This one is super fun. https://www.mountainproject.com/photo/108296893/deep-water-soloing-on-a-great-boulder-problem-at-the-emeralds-probably-a-v1-grea But I think there were signs about deadly water floodings or something like that being a possibility so go at your own risk.

A couple of popular spots are the Royal Gorge on the north fork of the American River and Jolly Boy's Mine in Nevada County.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
