Labor Day Weekend - RMNP

I'm looking for someone to do routes like the Northeast Ridge of Sharkstooth and Kiener's on Long's this weekend 8/30 to 9/1. Days trips or bivy and link up stuff, all is well with me.

I guess the usual disclaimer, I'm an experienced climber and won't kill you. I'm doing prerequisite climbs for the AMGA Alpine Guide Course and have already been through the RGC. I will be in Colorado much of the fall and winter and have a long list of stuff to do, just need partners willing to do alpine routes!

Lance if I were in CO this weekend Id do either of those routes with you! Unfortunately I have to settle for WWR. In 97 degree heat.

Snowed up high Sunday night. Rain Monday night and Tuesday night (tonight). Of course, conditions could improve by the weekend. Just FYI.

I've heard about the party in Rifle this weekend and it does seem tempting to roll out of the van at 8am, make some coffee and breakfast then start thinking about what to climb around 10am versus 5am starts! Gotta do my homework though...

Hey did you get plans figured out yet? I had a crew together to hike into glacier gorge tonight and spend three days there, but everyone is getting sick or having work stuff come up. Let me know if you're still interested. I'm down to get on any moderate route

I had to cancel my Winds trip due to weather so I am 100% free to climb! I am available most days from now until September 9th! I have also never killed anyone! In fact here is the sign I use to snag myself a partner when I am partnerless at a crag ;-)!

That is awesome, Denise. Perhaps I might try this approach someday, although you are a bit cuter than I am. Might not work so well for me.?

I travel a lot and often find myself at random crags so I have mastered the art of partner stalking! The sign is really nice because it takes the pressure off of parties of two and/or parties with an agenda...sometimes when you ask climbers face to face they feel bad and let you join their group even if it means climbing in a party of three. The negative of the sign is that it makes it really hard to politely say no to anyone who approaches you even if they have a lower skill set that makes you feel uncomfortable climbing with them!

Hi Bill! Adam is already at glacier! There is one extra bivy site for tonight and tomorrow because one person just bailed! We were looking for a fourth and you are welcome to join us if you are interested! I'm climbing at lumpy today so I may not have cell service until later!
