Truck topper or slide in camper?

I have a slide in/pop-up camper for sale here in Wisco. Fits a Dodge Dakota sized truck. Used it for years, has a working fridge, propane heater, 3 burner stove, plenty of storage, sleeps 2-3 reasonably well. Its located in Baraboo if any one is interested. I have no need for it since I no longer have a truck to put it on..........

Some really nice looking options.

But it gets to be a matter of age progression.

In our 20's we loved camping in our tents.
In our 30's we loved camping in the pop-up and slide in camper.
In our 40's we loved camping in our 24' travel trailer
In our 50's we love our 40' 5th wheel that we live in and travel constantly.

What about a car top tent? Seems like there are something like a half dozen companies making these things and I've more and more of them on SUVs and trucks.

We got this Jumping Jack trailer this year and really like it. I have beat it down some pretty rough roads and it seems to be built like a tank! I have the bump up topper on the truck too, but it is still pretty cramped in there. With the trailer, you pull up, dump it, and you still have a vehicle.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
