If you have experience bolting and replacing bolts, or are interested in learning, please contact me at jason@fixedpin.com in order to participate in our re-bolt day September 20th at 8am. You need to sign up in advance in order to participate as OSMP has capped the number of people we can have at the event. This is a collaboration between all three local climbing organizations, Boulder Climbing Community, Flatirons Climbing Coalition, and Action Committee for Eldorado as well as generous support from Fixed Pin Publishing, ClimbTech, and Trango. Also, thanks to OSMP for really getting behind this event as well. We have all the bolts, hangers, and anchor materials, we just need you!

This is our second annual re-bolt facelift event. Last year we rebolted all of Anarchy Wall in Clear Creek.

Very nice to hear and sending positive vibes. If we were in the area we would have part taken in the event. All support and keep on going with the facelifts! Hope South Platte is next!

Thanks for the support Joan. And not to de-rail this thread, but re-bolting in the Platte has been a continuous and on-going effort. All of Big Rock Candy Mountain has been rebolted for example. My intention was to replace all the bolts at Turkey Rock before Vol 2 hit the shelves (which will happen in about a month), but it's taking me longer than I was hoping. However, I do hope to finish replacing the 100+ bolts out there this fall/winter (already a good way through that number). A lot of the money from pre-sales of the book are going to fund it. Anyway, back to Mickey Mouse!!!

Excellent! Nice to hear that.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RE-BOLT YOU CAN STILL HELP US!!!

Mickey Mouse is tall and wide and we would really love some help in fixing some ropes. If you are willing to climb there a few days before or even the morning of Saturday Sept.20th, that would be greatly appreciated. You can lead on your rope, fix our lines, and continue on with your day. If this seems like something you're interested in, please email me at jason@fixedpin.com

Also - I sent a lengthy email tonight to all the people that registered for the event. If you did not receive an email, please contact me and I'll make sure you get the info.

Thanks for the support everyone

Jason
