I'm trying to figure out if this couloir is an established winter climb on the peak at all. If it has been climbed does it have a name and what's the climbing like? Kind of looks similar to the climbing on the Three Little Pigs next to Little Italy yet more narrow with a better chance for ice!

It has definitely been climbed before by the gentleman that used to guide climbing up by the cove. Bruce. Sorry cant remember his last name right now. He used to take people up there occasionally and then practice self arrests on little italy. Not sure if it has been named, never heard him refer to it by a name and never climbed it with him. He used to teach rock climbing in the springs as well, im sure you could find him with a little google work.

isn't that just the left fork of the Y?

I believe you are referring to Bruce who guides for the local gym, City Rock.
Also sorry if my post was misleading, this couloir is not by Little Italy. I think the one you are referring to is a couloir part of the Three Little Pigs (Three Apostles) couloir system. The couloir in the picture is on the opposite side of the highway under the routes Total Abandon and Blind Assumption.

And no it's not the left fork of the Y. It's to climbers right and under the Y

It doesn't have a name, but the rock to climbers left is called the Big Buttress. I've downclimbed the edge of it to get to the pit a couple years ago, and John Spangler said he use to climb it, and found easy ice there years ago. Don't know of any name for it though.
