Hello! I'm going to be living in Leeds for October and November and would love to check out the outside climbing scene. Anyone out there? What is the climbing like? ...will it ever not be raining? :)

Leeds is very close to some excellent climbing, if you're into trad. Check out UKC, for crags and partners. But it probably will p**s down the whole time.....!

Sorry to be negative, but October and November are definitely the worst months of weather for climbing. Not to say there wont be some windows of opportunity, but Autumn is a wet, cold, dark time in yorkshire. Theres a good selection of indoor walls in leeds and sheffield tho!
That sounds more like truth, not negativity. I figure the weather will be a bit tough, but yeah, hopefully there are SOME dry days. Will definitely check out the indoor walls at the very least, and the UKC site (had no idea!). Thanks!
