Eau Claire Climbers

So I've lived in Eau Claire sense February and I am still looking for people to climb with. My question for you Eau Claire Climbers is, Where have you been hiding?

There are some real go getters on campus but now that it's summer, they may or may not be around. Just let me say, living in Eau Claire is convenient for climbing at a variety of great crags. Enjoy!

There are a few of us here in La Crosse that get out on a regular basis. I frequent Devil's Lake and other local crags mostly on weekends. But if you use facebook, find me and I can add you to a Wisconsin climbers page where people post their trip and weekend climbing plans. I've leaned that it takes networking outside of your city to find climbing partners, and you'll be happy to know they're out there! Glad to hear there's one more psyched individual in the area. Where can i buy climbing gear in EC?!?

Joel- Eau claire doesn't have a place that sells climbing gear. I believe the nearest place is the cities.

I'm going to be visiting family in Red Wing, MN in August. I would love to check out Tettegouche NP. Any one down for a few day trip if I bring my gear?

I don't get lot of time to rock climb but I get more time to ice climb, i live just south of Eau Claire near Strum, i am always looking for ice climbing partners

Yeah I hav e started training already for ice, headed to Canmore next March. I can't wait!!

Hey everyone, I live here in Eau Claire and am getting back into climbing (after a year). Fairly new again, but had decent experience at Devil's/Taylor's. Looking for some people who wouldn't mind me tagging along on some friendly local excursions!

It'd be awesome to meet up with someone at big falls sometime before school starts up.
