Check out meetup.com There's a couple of active climbing groups in Denver and one in Colorado Springs. If you're into climbing safe, there's lots of people who will be willing to help you learn. |

I would suggest getting, as your first peices of gear, a set of stoppers and tricams. Tricams are the shit. Good luck, trad is rad |

I'm sure someone else will mention it but hiring a guide is a great way to learn new climbing skills. |
