About mid-day August 5th, I left my Element II 60M climbing rope at the top of a certain bluff at Devil's Lake, part of the chain accessible by the CCC Trail. It is about 50M down the ridge from where the trail meets the first bluff, slung around a tree in preparation of a end-of-day rappel I never made. The specific formation it is in in the left side of a small inlet containing a spire, similar the the structure at the Mississippi Palisades. Lastly, the rope is middle-marked by acrylic paint (faded) and marked at each end with blue and yellow acrylic paint.
I would be so, so grateful to whoever retrieved this! I would be happy to reimburse you a finder's fee as well if that is what you ask. Otherwise, I'll be sure to pay this forward. We did have a great trip out there, and I just hope it doesn't end in disappointment!
Happy climbing!
P.S I will try to post pictures of the location in the morning.
