Anyone have any beta on where a good bivy is in the Andrew's Glacier area?

Gettin the permit and hiking up on Saturday afternoon. I know they have a "recommened area", but I'm hoping to find something decent so my sister doesn't hate the experience :P

I think there is a massive boulder up around the glacier . I remember seeing it when we did it in a push. It looked like a OK spot.

Just after you turn left off the trail and start heading up the gash, look up at the huge boulder on top of the obvious bench. There is a nice bivy area just behind that boulder. Not as luxury as spearhead, but it is ok.

There are a couple of spots. Not 100% sure but if I'm looking at Google Maps correctly these are the coordinates for the most sheltered one: 40.287006, -105.674333.

There's another spot slightly lower down at 40.287717, -105.674521. Not as sheltered but nice flat rock bench.

Thank you all!
