I will be doing the Grand this week and have been getting extra info from wyomingwhiskey.org. I tried to look at the page again today and It is invite only apparently now. Does anyone know anything about this so I could get on that site? Thanks.

Use the "Cached" button on a google search and it will take you to the page before it went down.

I've noticed the same thing Tim. I've been logging onto that site regularly for several years now and now can't get on. I'm looking for info about this as well. For those of you who aren't familiar with wyomingwhiskey.org it contains tons of info about soloing the Grand Teton and has regular updates about route conditions, etc.

Bummer. Great site and great guy. Solid info on the grand. Used it more than the guidebooks on my ascent.

I sent them an email, here is the response:

Thanks.

No new site. No passwords. Everything is being archived and is currently unavailable. WW.org & WW.net are both closed to the public at this moment. We will have new detailed route photos back online at some point before the archive is available - they were the most popular resource.

We do have some photos posted here but there's no other information at: grandtetonclimb.blogspot.com/

We are in the process of reorganizing. No further information is available because we haven't decided on anything - too busy playing in the mountains.

Best of wishes for safe climbing and a great summer.

The dude who wrote the site frequently solos there. I met him personally while scrambling in a chimney and he showed me some of how to get to the route. He is actually a mail man in town. If you go to a couple of stores and restaurants I'm sure someone will be able to put you in touch with him. Although we could not have made it if it was not for the trail of guides' headlights in the morning. I would recommend waking up at 3 am and following the guides off the upper saddle. We camped just before the saddle though. It worked well.

Good news, made the summit without issues. Ended up following people up to and past the lower saddle then headed off on our own for the upper exum.
