Topo for Little Baldy in SEKI
|
Hello, |
|
The Mountain Project and SummitPost pages for the Regular Route really cover all you need. Hike up the Little Baldy trail until just before you get to the dome. Turn right and follow the wall until you get to the obvious dihedral. Climb the dihedral for ~4 pitches of easy, fun climbing. Bring a set of nuts and a set of cams. Ample opportunities to build belays if you want shorter or longer pitches. The cracks may need a little cleaning out in some places. |

Thanks for the response, Event. Regular Route does look pretty straight forward. Still, I feel a SuperTopo style climbing map would be very helpful as I've not yet climbed a multi-pitch without one! As with all things climbing, perhaps it's time to step outside of my comfort zone. |

you really don't need a topo for this route. very straight forward and a good first MP lead. |

Jeremy1701.... we would just park at the bottom of the Dome and walk straight up to it..... |

Thanks everyone! Climbed Regular Route this past weekend. It was a really fun and great climb with awesome views all around! There were several opportunties for belay stations. We did it in three total pitches, although the last was probably no more than class III or IV. Appriciate all the responses! |

Bit by Bit, the first hole I ever drilled. Also the first bit I ever broke. |
