Hey all-

So I will be leaving the Front Range of Colorado the first week in August. This is my rough itinerary (super open to changing it):

Lander area/ Tensleep for August.
Spearfish and the surrounding area for a week.
The Red/ The New until it gets super cold.
The Southeast until Decemberish.
Potrero and surrounding limestone in Mexico until March or so?
St. George/ Zion/ Maple for a while after that.
Then back to the Front Range April/May or so.

I'm psyched to meet people along the way, but would love to talk to some people ahead of time who will be in those areas around the times I will. If anyone wants to jump in my car for some legs of the trip that would be cool too.

I predominantly sport climb and like to get on things in the 5.12- range. I like to climb with people who are super positive and generally psyched on life. Also people who love catching falls and are quite proficient at it. I am in my mid twenties, don't take a whole lot too seriously, and am really looking to make some awesome friends/partners.

If any of this sounds cool to you and you have some availability, give me a shout!

If you end up in Baja Arizona (southern AZ) PM me, but for now your plans don't seem to have you swinging through this area...

Me and my buddy are doing a big road trip from Ottawa to El Potrero (leaving after new year's eve), and climbing there all winter. When It gets too warm we'll drive up west, hitting up Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Indian Creek, Smith Rock, etc. and finishing in Squamish.

So we'll probably see you in Mexico. My friend has been to Potrero before (I haven't) but he went alone for a month and a half early this year and never had problems finding partners! So don't worry about that, you'll always have somebody to climb with., even if you don't manage to find anyone ahead of time.
We're both in our early twenties and like to climb at about the same range (as of now, up to 11+ for me and mid to harder 12's for my friend) but we're always pushing ourselves to climb harder. And yeah, we don't take life too seriously either.

We don't really have a planned itinerary as our trip is of the "until the money runs out" variety. We're pretty go with the flow type of people. But we will be climbing in Potrero in winter, that is for sure.

Cheers!

Let me know when you're at the new, I'm always down for partners and head down there a lot in the fall, usually.

I do weekend trips to the Red and New all the time, and I'll have ample (actually, unlimited) climbing time come November. Shouldn't be too cold around then. Hit me up when you're in the area!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
