The sky is falling?

Are self education and open-mindedness some kind of liability? These are claims made recently by wealthier people I've climbed with. First things first: Anyone believes that we ought to worship the 1% as folk heroes and believes such absurdities will continue to insist that they know more than we do about cliff closures.

The Access Club has a lot to answer for in regard to that. With their pushing of self observed closuers, they have been trying for quite some time to convince us that our unalienable rights are merely privileges that it can dole out or retract. Injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere. Keep that in mind the next time ye catch landowners gaining a virtual stranglehold on your crags.

Let me get this straight... You have wealthy friends. There is land that is owned. And the owner of the land doesn't want you using their land if people continue to fuck it up? And you're mad because of that?

Pretty sure this is Eleanor. Please don't feed the trolls.

I'm intrigued by this Eleanor. Does anyone know anything about the real Eleanor?

It occurs to me that I've read nearly every string that she's started or is prominent in. Its like watching Fear Factor. You know its beneath you and you shouldn't watch, but you do anyways.

Wtf? This is incoherent babble. Must be the famed elenor.

Usually Elanor's post contain something coherent. Like pooping in the woods. Unless she is drunk and posting.

Do we think Eleanor is female?

Good pro, Joan Lee...now, Sally Red? Way transparent. The anti-wealthy drivel is one of the clues.

Elena Sera Jose. Google her face book page for lots of pictures. Is actually a licensed nurse. Not sure why she makes a hobby of nonsensical posting. Probably needs to climb more and work less, just like many of us.

Seems like way too many correctly-spelled words to be Eleanor.

One flew east,
One flew west,
One named Elena flew into the cuckoo's nest...

Your first mistake: don't climb with rich. They get into your head. Second: if the land owners close crags for whatever reason there is got to be a reason for that ( vandals, liability, just don't like other people near by etc. ) They cannot buy all the rocks off.
And btw I really don't need that unnecessary fame. I'm not into that kind of thing. I'm a simple person, a pilgrim on the journey of life...

Jake , your anger issues do not have to be displaced on an Internet personality no matter how convenient and easy it may sound. Like I said , low stress, medication regimen and a consistent therapy may work better for you long term.

My favorite part is watching the same 3 or 4 guys fall over themselves trying to interact with her.

Fascinating. It's like observing the mind of a madman. I wasn't able to find any pictures of her. I'm curious - can anyone find her and post a pic?

You look like Mr.T is he your hero? Did you hear that curiosity killed the cat? I can tell you must volunteer at a psych facility or a state penitentiary if you have a fascination with the minds of mad men. Write a book afterwards.

This is her profile pic, which anyone with an Internet connection and knowledge of Facebook can view:

Never met her, but met her BF in Yosemite if I recall right. He seemed cool.

As far as worshiping the 1% goes, I dont know where that shit came from, but I dont think I have ever met someone in my entire life that thinks highly of the 1%. Pretty sure only the 1% like the 1%. The other 99% sure as hell dont like them.

KN, aren't you so resourceful!

Joan Lee · · Unknown Hometown · Joined Jun 2014 · Points: 140

KN and Mutton are too good of climbers for me. Lately I have done some mentoring easy trad routes and a little bit of gym coaching. Otherwise I have not had the need for climbing partners since my boyfriend and I are getting on some trads, and a little bit of sport and aide. Aide mentor would be helpful while we are in the Valley as long as they are not spazzed out and chill. Regardless of the situation we manage to keep ourselves entertained and busy at the crags in the areas that we are passing at a particular time.
