Sportiva Solution with XS Edge?

I just got a new pair of Solutions and the bottom says XS Edge rubber. Is it a labeling mistake, or did they change from XS Grip to XS Edge? I was very happy with the XS Grip rubber. Googling doesn't tell me anything about Solutions with XS Edge so I wonder what's up. I have the white/yellow solutions that have a kind of psychedelic look to them instead of just plain yellow.

This is the Solution and it says XS Edge. Either the label is wrong or the website is outdated.

When I was looking at the TC Pro, the guy at the shop told me LS puts Edge on men's shoes and Grip on women's. Don't know if that's true, but it was for the ones he showed me.

I emailed La Sportiva about it. They said they spot checked the shoes in their US warehouse, and they have XS Grip2. Very weird...

You should buy another pair and Chang shoes between every go and document the differences!

Just wondering: do you plan on climbing outside in these shoes?

GhaMby I was actually thinking about that. I would love to test both pairs if they would let me have a free pair to compare against. Yes the shoes will be used outside. They offered to swap me out for a pair of XS Grip2 for free.

Yeah it would. But I'm happy enough to pay return shipping to ensure it's XS Grip2, which I know works well for me.
