Whoever removed the black fixed line, anchor setup, directionals and bolting equipment from Flying Buttress down along the Madison River. Please do the right thing and send me a PM to arrange returning it.
Developing routes is an expensive, exhausting, and time-consuming task done by a few to help out the rest of the climbing community. When stuff like this happens it really diminishes the motivation and feelings of goodwill to contribute to the sport that has done so much for me.
If anyone has any tips, rumors, or hints to who might have removed that gear please let me know.
I'm not exactly sure what the area looks like but if it's right along the river I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it was a climber. Perhaps someone fishing. Good luck!

Do you have any better description of the gear in case it turns up in a pawn shop or what ever. Tape marking? brand of biners? ect...
60m 11mm black sterling dynamic Maroon pas 2 old OP D lockers (no paint I don't think) 3 home built draws with fat gray bd dogbones and various biners all with froggy tape or red and blue nail polish Couple spare carabiners with same markings Handful of fixe hangers w 3/8x3.75" wedge heads (I think mixed hilti kb and red heads)
Hopefully something turns up. Seems odd that even new climbers would think this much of a setup is bail gear.
