I've read through some of the other posts and can't find anything solid. Trying to get some suggestions from people who use them regularly . Is it better to clip in to the cam sling or use a draw.

It really depends on the amount of extension you need. Most of the time I use the cam sling extended. I rarely need to extend them more than that. If you get them at a good price, I highly recommend the Dragons.

Ya dude I just picked up a set today. Other than the times when you need extra extension, I was wondering if it was better to just use the DMM sling. Mainly concerned with taking a good size fall directly onto the cam without a draw and destroying it, or if it makes no difference.

it makes no difference if you have a draw on the cam sling or not. if the sling couldn't handle a fall, why would it be on a cam?

They will take a fall just fine. I speak from experience on this. They are as strong as any skinny Dyneema runner on the market.

Ok cool thanks. Do they tend to walk when directly clipped in

Youll be fine clipping in direct I almost always extend my dragon slings unless im pumped to hell or its close to the ground/ledge One trick is if you can see what piece you need, extend the sling at a good stance the. Put it in yr mouth and place it at the pumpy section While it might not seem that the extended dragon is much longer, the thinner dyneema sling when extended transmits less movement than the thicker nylon sling of a camalot And you dont waste a draw ;)

Love the Dragon slings. Seldom use draws on them. Usually just clip cam's sling. You need to learn to grab the sewn part when you extend them. I've done it so many times now, it's second nature, but it took a while to get this embedded in my brain.

Thanks for the info everyone, I noticed that when messing around with them. Looks like the only thing I have to remember is to clip into the rubber part of the sling.

Is the tandem troll a new concept or am I just new to the concept of the tandem troll?
