We rescued your rope! (at about 5 pm on 7/10/14) Took some time and elbow grease, but got it all out, now it just wants to find its way home. PM me back with the rope specs and buy me a six pack, and we can meet up to get it back to you!

I think you got *your* rope unstuck. I can't imagine giving up on my rope! Bad weather?

Forget about returning it!! If you used elbow grease on that rope, it might be time to just retire it. Elbow grease has been proven to cause deterioration to the sheath and core, significantly reducing strength and elasticity.

is elbow grease petroleum based?

Not sure if was one of those big rainstorms that came through or ... who knows. I know, right?! It would take a real emergency for me to bail on a rope. It was pretty good and stuck, though. Took me about 45 min to work it out. Not sure, but the section that was stuck was an 8 on a bite, and it might be sorta screwed now for climbing on. The core feels a bit mis-shapen...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
