Help me not be such a lazy sack of shit

Well summer is upon us once again here in the beautiful south. The friction goes to shit sometime around mid May and it leaves me with little rock to climb. Sure I could head north, but I have too much to do here on the homestead. Summer is the growing season here. Not just for my numerous weed plants, but also for the fruits, vegetables, and livestock. Add in the fact that I've been making some killer moonshine and you've got yourself a recipe for DGAF aka don't give a fuck. I've found myself consumed with farming and when I'm not farming I'm getting shit housed on moonshine. I wake up hungover as shit just in time to see the sunrise (sometimes I just skip sleep and let the day carry over) I feed the animals, milk the cows, and by 7am I'm usually knee deep in the trout streams. In the afternoon I'll have an hour long nap before doing more work on the farm.

So my question is this, how do I not be such a lazy sack of shit and start training for climbing more? Do I need to sacrifice my late night moonshine tastings, or should I just wait till fall come back around? Maybe I could practice crimp strength when unbaling the hay. Usually after harvest I have more than enough time to do whatever, but by then I'm so tired and my nerves are shot. Any advice on training?

The most important aspect of training, in any field, is setting goals. Choose a goal and stick with it.

Damn, Huck, why would you fuck your gig up with a fool thing like climbing?

get a piece of plywood, lean it up against the barn at a 45 degree angle and stand on it for as long as you can without slipping.

These all sound decent.

Maybe I should just hire a work hand to do the work for me? He could do push ups, pull ups, and general strength conditioning, while I'm busy farming.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
