There was a single set of newish bolts next to a tree. This was about 500-600' from the the road and it's an obvious campsite. Cliff was about 90' tall and a slab.
Anyone know anything about that route? Four of us climbed it and averaged it a 5.7+, we're curious to know what the reality is.
That's a place that Don Garrett and Ron Vardanega have been working on a bit for the last couple of years; Don took me there last year. There are four or five lines besides the one bolted at the top you found (about 5.7). To it's left as you face the wall are four different topropeable lines from gear or trees, a couple of them around a cool left leaning flake/crack (8 or so) are pretty 9 or 10ish smearing at first, then mellowing out as get higher. Another one farther left starts as a dirty slab then into a fun little crack to the top, did that free solo and is nice. Lots of cleaning left to do there, I remember.
