Luggage rack for airport

I need a cart strong enough to get a heavy haul bag - camping gear bag etc from the car through a long airport and then fold up small enough to fit into my checked (full legal sized check in bag without adding too much bulk or weight - it doesn't need to fit into the carry on compartment really but it would be all right if it did. Needs to be able to carry 80# of real weight I suppose regardless of the manufacturers ad copy stating whatever which is usually BS anyway. Anyone have one they can recommend?

You might want to check with B&H Photovideo. WHen I was a commercial photographer, I used to lug a lot of gear with a luggage cart, as to many pros today. They might have something sturdy and cheap.

Costco has exactly what you're looking for, assuming you're a member.

Have you considered just wearing it as a backpack, since, you know, that's how it's designed to be carried?

20KN - my last big trip (multi purpose and several weeks long) - I had a haul bag, a Fish duffel about the same size as a haul bag and a 50L regular climbing pack. I travel with my wife so we have more than the minimum amount of "stuff". Carrying one on my back - one balanced on top of that and dragging one on the ground sucks - I'm on Social Security now (age, not disability) so I want a cart, but thanks for the tip :).

Costco has one just like that for like $40 in store.

OR online they have this one:

Costco Luggage Cart

If it stinks, Costco has a good return policy.

Having used a foldable cart here and there, I can tell you you want as big a "bottom" of the cart as you can to get under the bags etc. Small and the stuff just falls off without a good strap (which you'll want regardless )

MagnaCart - Found it at Lowe's - 150# rated, I threw 100# on it and it feels solid as can be. A little heavier than some (around 7# just on the bathroom scales) but seems a lot stronger than anything else I saw. Nice big shelf and a decently tall handle when extended. This will work.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
