Hand Injuries anyone?

Not sure what this is, should probably see the doc, but figured i'd run it by y'all. Strange sensation when im sometimes pulling on a hold, like something pops and a warming discomfort enters the area of pain and radiates distally. It takes place at the base of my palm, the radiation i speak of, entering my palm proper. It does not happen on every climb but is becoming more frequent. Happens more when im pulling down-n-out rather than just down, if that makes sense. Thanks for your time, let me know if you have experienced this, and if so, is a doc needed and or treatments you used. --It is not to the point of pain that i must release the hold i have on the rock, just very uncomfortable. It sucks.
