States that the target area is:
The gathering site is located around 15 miles east of Heber City in the West Fork of the Duchesne area, and U.S. Forest Service Officials expect the event to draw between 10,000 and 20,000 people. Populations should peak around July 4.

Will this have an effect on the climbing areas? I'm still feeling my around Utah and would like to climb in the Uintas, as I hear it is amazing climbing. Should I just stay away until mid July or is this no cause for concern? I just wonder if a group this size would just be a pain to deal with or ruin the experience. But maybe they aren't close to the climbing areas?

Not close to the climbing - nothing to worry about.

Last time the Rainbow fuck show came to the Uintahs, they left the place totally trashed. Bunch of hypocrites!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
