Hey All, The HERA Climb for Life event is this Sat. June 21st and large groups of climbers are heading to several Boulder Canyon crags. This is an annual fundraising event to raise awareness and research funds to fight ovarian cancer and is a really cool event and mission. That said, you may want to climb at other crags to avoid the mosh pit feeling at: Castle Rock, Happy Hour, and Cascade Crag. Smaller groups will also be at Mine Hole and the Elephant Buttresses. Happy climbing, Mark

Might want to reschedule.... I already called dibs on those crags about 6mo ago. Been buying a rope a week so I can hang em all on TR and reserve those routes.

No, really this asshat must be a troll..... Taking a group to siege an entire climbing area, then wishing you all happy climbing. If this shit was in WA and you said you were taking over index, there would be parking lot sabotage, ropes cut, rocks thrown and gear stole.... How is this even acceptable? Next thing is gonna be a reservation system for climbing routes.

This being Boulder, all those folks were probably going climbing on Saturday anyway. Now they will be concentrated at a few crags, while making a donation to a worthwhile cause, and all the other crags will be less crowded. Seems like a win for everybody. Unless Tronald had his heart set on working that proj at Cascade Crag...

Good to see ya'll are taking folks to the Elephant Buttresses, it's a super underrated crag with soome of the best splitters in the Canyon. If only that damn pipe wasn't such a pain in the ass.

I recommend you take a huge group to the most crowded and ridiculous crag in the canyon. A visit to the Sport Park! I'm never going back there again. More babies and dogs then climbers. Someone dislodged a huge boulder from their hammock or folding chair that can flying down the hill just stopped barely by a little pine tree.

My partner and I were the only ones climbing at the sport park this Saturday. It was great!
