I'm looking to get out and climb some hard trad but all my current partners are at my level and we aren't willing to push it too hard on lead. I've been climbing constantly for a while but I figure I can't climb twelves till I get on some. I'd like to follow the hard pitches. Anybody willing to rope gun for me?

Thanks a bunch.

If you can't find willing ropeguns, I've managed to push into each next grade by finding TR-accessible routes (usually lead something easier to a shared anchor), run a couple laps on the hard route on TR, then sack up and lead it.

After doing 2-3 topropes at your next prospective grade, you'll have the confidence to start tackling more routes without a TR rehearsal.

Or you could sack up just try and onsight everything. But I'm a pansy, so I usually TR.

I'll lead 11- and follow harder. Can't get out this weekend though, next weekend is better

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
