Eagle project

Hey everyone! Im looking for an eagle scout project to do and am wanting to do it around one of my interests. I was thinking about somthing like fixing up an approach trail to some of the climbs in AF canyon. If anyone has any ideas or if you see something that needs done, in AF canyon would be best, then tell me and I may be able to make it my eagle project and fix it!

The Billboard Wall trail could use some switchbacks.

Check with the Ranger's office in PG. When I lived there, they had a list going of certain things they needed done in the canyon. +1 for the Billboard idea. The trail out to the Escape Buttress is pretty washed out as well and is a safety issue for sure.

It would be a good idea to try to coordinate with SLCA as they are already working these exact issues and projects. The PG Ranger Station had an interest in the past in working on Jacob's Ladder, and there is ATV access to the base of the "switchbacks." You could be a hero.

Contact the SLCA to see what you can do to help with them. They may have some projects in the works and they have close relationships with the Forest Service.
