City of Rocks, July 26 - Aug 3

We are looking to camp in the Preserve. Should we make reservations for the camp sites ahead of time for this time of year, or will it be pretty open. We will have a group of 6-8.

Thanks for the help. Our first trip to the City, so any additional info is greatly appreciated.

Probably fairly easy to get a res as its hot season, however - you can make the res and if you cancel i think they refund you everything but $10
