Went to the perch a few years back and thought it would be difficult to get across the creek in early season. Any thoughts/recommendations on crossing the creek in early july?
-thx

I think it should be fine. Alternatively, a few hundred feet upstream, the creek totally mellows an you can use a wire as a handline over your head to cross on a single log. Even when the main crossing is washed out, at most you'd only have to take your shoes off and it's super mellow. I just noticed the wire last fall but my friend just used it two weeks ago and it's totally reasonable. Usually by mid June, the standard crossing is doable.
