The X4 offsets are out at Rock & Snow in New Paltz.

Now, what color biner to put on them. I decided to coordinated with the larger lobes.

Thanks Ryan.
It was a grueling effort but I think I made the right choice.

I'm so glad I know this now. I can now sleep more easily at night.

I've been drooling over them since they we're announced. Now, will a manufacturer step in with a set of anodized biners for offsets? Not sure if that's too niche though? I recall when the Alien offsets we're difficult to find, stoked to see plenty of options today. To me the X-4's design is a masterpiece.

Just bought the .2/.3, .3/.4, .4/.5 offsets. Looking forward to trying these out on a few climbs where regular cams dont feel quite bomber.

I actually just bought the 0.3/0.4 to replace one of my old Mastercam Offsets that is super banged up from aiding. I'm looking forward to taking it out and seeing how it does. Looks nice on first glimpse!

PS - I got it at REI for those who like REI.

I've used a silver biner and sharpies for years for my offsets. Sure it rubs off over time but takes about 30 seconds to touch up. Split Color coding is easy.

Any thoughts on how these compare to alien offsets (totem or fixe)?

Probably function more or less the same, I chose X4 offsets over aliens as my rack consist of BD gear. I will compare my X4's to a friends offset aliens upon arrival.

Once you're done with that, compare them to a set of Totem Cams (Basic or Regular totems). Now if only Totems would fix their distribution issues.

These things are the awesome, I often bring a my .2/.3-.4/.5 offsets on pitches now instead of doubles of regular cams. I find myself placing these a lot in the pin scarred granite here in Index/Leavenworth, WA. They have turned what otherwise may have been R rated climbs into perfectly protected climbing, love these!

All my offsets are racked on orange biners.
