I checked this place out today and it looks pretty sweet for a secluded area similar to The Overlook. Anyone got any beta for the routes besides Toula's guide?

Thanks,
Micah

I climbed there almost 20yrs ago. Definitely secluded. Not as big as the Overlook but just as fun and great views. Don't have anymore beta though.

I don't have any climbing beta for you but if you hike another 5 minutes SE along the rim you'll find the Vultee plane crash site from the 30s which was pretty interesting. Also, I thought the climbing looked pretty short and not sustained; to me it didn't look as good as the overlook. However, as mentioned, the setting is without a doubt 5 stars and you definitely won't have to worry about crowds.

Also the area above it may have burned in the Slide Fire and the roads in the area are currently closed.

I agree it didn't look as good as the overlook but the explorer inside of me doesn't really care about that. I hope it didn't get hit by the fire but it seems pretty likely it did.
