boulder canyon

I am making a trip to boulder next week I was wondering if there was still any snow in the canyon, and if there is any good primitive camping near by. I have camped north of nederland in the past, but I guessing that there will be alot of snow in that area.

No snow in the canyon now. Best free camping is up sugarloaf road near the parking for upper dream canyon

Is the camping in upper dream canyon obvious in order to stay off private property? Is it car camping or hike in?
