i have a 6in pvc pipe about two feet in length and some staircase tape - what kind of contraption for training can i create? Should i cut it in half length wise or create a two handed hanging pillar thing.

Other ideas welcome?

Save grip tape for another project. Drill hole in center of 2' span of PVC, thread 36" of cord through, hang weights from cord, do rollies. Watch your forearms grow.

My vote goes for creating a balance board. You'll just need a little bit of wood to finish the job. Great way to work on balance and core strength.

Edit: The rollies thing looks pretty cool too - but I don't know if you can hold onto a 6in diameter piece of PVC like that

Seems to me that 6in diameter pipe could make for an intense "rollie" bar. Think of how challenging fat-bar pullups are. I second that idea!

ya we already have a rollie thing at the gym (its 2" wide btw cant grip six inch pipe well enough to roll weights) and balance stuff; i also already have a 3" diy pvc pullup thingamajiggy with the grip tape so looking for some other contraptions. I should be studying for medical boards but need a break.

Edit: to say i would totally break myself if i tried balancing on those boards...almost made a hole in a friends drywall once attempting one

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
